There are three receptions in the Hospital, one on the

entrance floor on the eastern side and the other on the 

ground floor from the western side for all the specialties 

clinics, rapid registration If it is your first visit, your 

Tregistration is done and number is allotted to you. A file is opened in your name and an identity 

card given for the subsequent visits. 

1 -    The Lowest Floor which faces Abdullah Oraif St, Al 

         Russaifa Road includes : 

  a - Emergency Department 

  b - Diagnostic Departments for Radiology, Clinical   

       Pathology CT Scan & Mammography etc . 

  c - Out Patient Department for obstetrics & Gynecology. 

2 -     The ground floor which includes: 

  a - The Registration Department 

  b - The outpatient clinic department of all specialties & subspecialties of Internal Medicine and 

       Surgery, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Pediatrics, Dental center, Dermatology, Orthopedic,

       Mid gynae, Physiotherapy & optical center. 

3 -     The first floor includes: 

  a - The Cath. Lab for Angioplasties & Angiographies. 

  b - Operation Theaters of general surgery & pediatric surgery.Urology, cardiac surgery, 

       orthopedic  surgery, labour rooms, Nursery & ICU.

  c - Labour rooms & Gynaecology inpatient ward. 

  d - Neonatal intensive care unit, general intensive care unit. 

4 -     The Second floor includes: 

  a - Internal Medicine. Inpatient wards. 

  b - Pediatric Inpatient 

  c - Coronary care unit. 

5 -     The Third Floor includes: 

  a - Surgery Inpatient department. 

  b - Surgery intensive care unit. 

  c - Artificial fertilization unit. 

6 -     The fourth floor includes:

  a - The Administration and accounts department . 

  b - Computer Department . 

  c - Central Telephone Exchange . 

  d - Lecture Theater . 

  e - Conference Room and Hospital Library. 

Emergency patients and females in labour are welcome 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and so are 

the diagnostic services like Radiology & clinical Pathology, CT scan, Echocardiography & 

Angiography , ETT, Ultrasonographies. 

All the consultants and specialists are available in case of urgent need, after normal routine from 

09.00 A.M. & 01.00 P.M & 5.00 P.M to 10.00 P.M. The central exchange has 13 lines working on
